Embroidery workshop Sola School, Stavanger

Last week I spent two days at Jæren, at the west coast of Norway in preparation for the exhibition opening at Hå gamle prestegard, Sept 4th. A teacher had read a small note in the local newspaper that people were invited to participate in the project. She contacted me and I was able to come and work with the students, 11 - 12 years. They are about the youngest participating in the project, but doing so with an impressive empathy and skills to embroider. I hope they bring their family to the exhibition to see their work.
